Fiber: From straight, to variable to irregular Grain: Visible with irregular form and dark colour. Colour: Whitish or brown-yellowish sapwood, heartwood dark brown with purple or chocolate color tones. Frequently dark pigmentation. Drawing: Varied with the widespread presence of irregular dark stripes and marbling. |
